Break Away Ministries provides interpersonal counseling,
groups and seminars to help equip men and women to help themselves and
others through personal restoration and reconciliation of their
relationships. BAM will use the sub-award to further build and expand
their capacity to conduct Marriage Education (ME) for singles and
couples in their community, and to train more ME presenters to help in
the work. They will also use the T&TA to recruit and train volunteers,
and develop marketing, fundraising and sustainability plans for their
work. |

Broadmoor Community Church has a program which offers
pre-marriage, marriage and parenting education to couples, parents,
teens and families throughout Alameda County. They will use the
sub-award to further build and expand their capacity to conduct
pre-marriage, marriage and parenting education to the people they serve.
They will also use the T&TA to train more ME presenters and to develop
marketing, fundraising and sustainability plans for their work. |

Grace Baptist Church Community Counseling Team offers marriage and family education to members of their congregation and to surrounding community members. Healthy Communities has a program called Healthy Families
which offers a variety of services, including mother's parenting
classes, fatherhood classes, ex-offender mentoring, and marriage and
family strengthening education. They will use the sub-award to further
build and expand their capacity to conduct marriage and family education
to the people they serve and to train more ME presenters to help in the
work. They will also use the T&TA to develop a fundraising and
sustainability plan for their work. |

J.L. Davis Family Resource Center offers training,
education and support servies to Hayward's South Garden residents and
the surrounding commities in order to help stablize, rebuild and
strengthen families, with particular emphasis on families who are
experience substance/alcohol problems and domestic violence. They will
use the sub-award to further build and expand their capacity to conduct
marriage and family education to the people they serve and to train more
ME presenters to help in the work. They will also use the T&TA to
recruit and train volunteers, and develop a fundraising and
sustainability plan for their work. |

Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church provides programs and
services to address the breakdown of the African-American family by
strengthening the family through marriage, relationship and family
strengthening education. They will use the sub-award to further build

the people they serve and to train more ME presenters to help in the
work. They will also use the T&TA to develop a fundraising and
sustainability plan for their work. |

Parents Who Care of SF provide famiklies and their
children with a range of services designed to strengthen families ties
and create a sense of community. Specifically, they provide marriage and
family counseling and education, work with those experience domestic
violence, and mentor ex-offender youth. They will use the sub-award to
further build and expand their capacity to conduct marriage and family
education to the people they serve and to train more ME presenters to
help in the work. They will also use the T&TA to apply for and get 501c3
status, recruit and train volunteers, and develop marketing, fundraising
and sustainability plans for their work. |

PowerMinistries networks with other FBO's and CBO's in
hosting seminars, conferences, symposia, and focus groups that are
designed to educate, train, movitave and build forward-thinging in the
individuals' lives as they relate to their relations regarding marriage,
potential mates and children. They will use the sub-award to further
build and expand their capacity to conduct marriage, relationship and
family education to the people they serve and to train more ME
presenters to help in the work. They will also use the T&TA to recruit
and train volunteers, and develop marketing, fundraising and
sustainability plans for their work. |

Rod Thomas Consulting offers a variety of classes and
coaching to single persons, couples, and FCBO's to enhance skills to
increase the probability of relationship success. They will use the
sub-award to further build and expand their capacity to conduct
marriage, relationship and family education to the people and FCBO's
they serve and to train more ME presenters to help in the work. They
will also use the T&TA to apply for and get 501c3 status, recruit and
train volunteers, and develop marketing, fundraising and sustainability
plans for their work. |

| Royal Child Ministries |
Royal Child Ministries provides services to improve and
strengthen the role that husbands and fathers have with their wives and
children during their period of incarceration, primarily at San Quentin
State Prison, and then provide support for these husbands' and fathers'
successful transition back into their families and society once they
leave incarceration. RCM will use the sub-award to further build and
expand their capacity to conduct marriage and family education to the
people they serve and to train more ME presenters to help in the work.
They will also use the T&TA to develop a fundraising and sustainability
plan for their work. |
